Project structure in Tabsters

In order to correctly understand how Tabsters operate, it is important to understand how Tabsters allows you to organize your projects

Tabsters allows you to simply and intuitively manage your data in real time with the various actors involved in your project.

In order to correctly manage your projects, Tabsters offers a 5-level project representation.

The highest level of project representation is the Business line, which corresponds to a grouping of projects. Next comes the Project level, then the Workpackage level, which is a grouping of actions, but which is also the only level in Tabsters' project representation that is optional, which means you don't need to add a Workpackage to your project if you don't need all 5 levels.

Then comes the Action level, which corresponds to deliverables and which can replace the Workpackage level as a direct child of your project if you don't wish to have one, and finally the lowest level is the Task level which can be monitored by a resource in order to report the burned on it as part of time tracking management.

In addition to these 5 levels of project grouping, there are other levels that allow these different elements to be grouped along a transverse axis. This axis can be the location of your project, its nature or even its type. This transverse grouping allows you to obtain a matrix vision of your projects, ordered according to, among other things, the criterias mentioned above.

There are also global axis (global business line, global project, etc.), allowing you to group together different business lines, projects, etc. without having them to be part of the same grouping.
The values of these axes can be defined by yourself within the application if you have the rights to access the Environment module (unitary right only given to key users).

Finally, Tabsters also lets you manage your project's various contributors using teams that group together different resources, corresponding to the project's various contributors.
These teams and resources can also be grouped according to the transversal axis mentioned above.
